Dark, cold nights are perfect for cozying up in a hot jazz club. Need to impress a date? Dinner and a show at one of Denver’s few jazz supper clubs is a sure bet. Grab someone special and make a plan to hit Dazzle Restaurant and Lounge soon, where every night of the week features staggered jazz shows througout the evening.
Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m., hear local singer-songwriter Elea Plotkins as she celebrates the release of her new CD, “Classical Dreamscapes.” Aside from being a stellar songwriter, busy mom, music teacher, and all-around great lady, Elea is a classically trained pianist, whose personal style combines jazz, classical, pop and rock influences. This show will focus on her interpretation of classical arrangements, but she’s well-rounded enough to veer off into several other directions as well.
