Downtown dogs may soon be able to run free… in an off-leash dog park, that is. A group called Railyard Dogs has been working on plans for the new doggie park in the Riverfront area of the Central Platte Valley. For downtown dogs and their owners, this would be a great addition to the city’s other dog parks — all of which are located closer to the ‘burbs. The final meeting to view the park designs will be held next Thursday, January 20 p.m. at 1610 Little Raven Street, Suite 115. The public is invited to attend and share their thoughts; call Riverfront Park’s Caroline Ellett at 303-623-1500 for details.
