There’s no doubt that Denver has plenty of great art galleries, exhibits, and cultural events. But, if you are a young professional worried about student loans and rent, you may not be able to afford them. Fear not: Recently, Cross-Cultured—a members-only club that provides a meeting ground for like-minded, artistically-inclined young professionals—made its launch at DaDa Art Bar.

The series, started by Katie Kruger of Denver Art Museum’s CultureHaus, officially begins July 1 (the DaDa meetup was an introduction to the program). Cross-Cultured gives its young members easy, discounted access to some of the best Denver art events throughout the year. With help from the minds behind Denver Passport, Kruger pulled together a number of events, including the Cherry Creek Arts Festival on July 5, the 3D paper manipulation workshop at MSU’s Center for Visual Art on July 17, and the VIP Film on the Rocks screening of Hunger Games: Catching Fire. In addition to discounts, special tours like Denver Art Museum’s Curatorial and Conservation Conversation, and a preview of Matt Barton’s exhibit at MCA Denver, are offered exclusively to Cross-Cultured members. With a host of local sponsors ranging from Colorado Ballet to OhHeckYeah, Cross-Cultured probably won’t have a problem attracting members.
