A few weeks ago, Boulder athlete Adriana Nelson beat Olympian Desiree Davila by seven seconds to take the U.S. Half-Marathon Championship title in Duluth, Minnesota, in one hour, 11 minutes and 19 seconds. For the Fourth of July, Nelson ran in the AJC Peachtree Road Race, the largest road race in the U.S. The Romanian-born distance runner for Asics finished in 16th place (33:52), which means that we’ll see more of this runner soon.
