The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver’s 8th Annual Dream House Raffle

One of the organization’s largest annual fund-raisers, the raffle typically brings in nearly $1 million. This year’s top prize is a 4,000-square-foot, modern Cherry Creek masterpiece (valued at $2.75 million) that delivers gorgeous interiors in an urban location.

“Because we do our work in metro Denver, it’s important that the home is in central Denver,” says Gail Bransteitter, director of marketing and communications for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. “Location is definitely a factor, and we were very lucky to find this home.”

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom house features indoor and outdoor swimming pools; a three-car heated garage; a workout room; and a chef’s kitchen with a built-in Miele espresso maker. But if you prefer grapes to coffee beans, don’t worry—it’s covered. “My favorite part of the home is the wine room,” Bransteitter says. “It’s a huge glass room, and it’s just beautiful.”

Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Mighty Millions Raffle 2016

For a more traditional aesthetic, check out this raffle’s $1.8 million home in Hilltop. Awarded fully furnished, the 5,387-square-foot property by Cubed Homes features interior design by Casey St. John Interiors. Again, the location is part of the draw.

“We chose this home as it’s in a very desirable neighborhood, perfect for families, and it will provide a life-changing experience to our lucky winner,” says Monique McCoy, senior manager communications for Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. “The Mighty Millions Raffle gives anybody a chance to support a great cause, win some exciting prizes, and get our mission first and foremost in people’s minds.”

Decorated in a Santa Barbara style—picture white cabinetry, marble countertops, and soft, inviting furnishings—this five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion features a beautiful open kitchen and great room; a basement complete with a wet bar and guest suite; and an outdoor living room complete with a fireplace.

“It’s move-in ready,” McCoy says. “Our lucky winners could take ownership and simply show up with a bag of clothes and live in it.”

The Details: The show home is open to the public Wednesdays through Fridays from 2 to 8 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 12 to 5 p.m. Additional prizes include luxury cars, vacation packages, and sporting events; winners are required to accept prizes as awarded, and luxury items—including the home—come with bonus cash to cover taxes.
