This Saturday afternoon, thousands of eggs will be scattered throughout Denver’s Washington Park for a massive—and free—Easter-egg hunt.
This inaugural bash, sponsored by the New Denver Church, is open to everyone and also features face painting, games, music, and a photographer. The thousands of hidden eggs will contain kid-friendly treats.

The event lasts from 1 to 3 p.m. and takes place at the south end of the park’s main field. In the case of bad weather (reference last week’s sudden spring blizzard), check the Web site for more information.
