It’s time for the granddaddy of all garage sales, as the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall hosts the Beautiful Junk sale. This Friday and Saturday, the place will be packed with 10,500 square feet of yard-sale-priced household wares.

Even better news? All of the proceeds go to a great cause: the Jeffco Action Center, a nonprofit that helps meet the basic human needs of people in Jefferson County.

The sale runs Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $2 for admission, and children 15 and under are free. Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted for purchases of more than $20; otherwise, bring cash or check.
