I’m a little embarrassed that sometimes I get the back-to-school nervousness on Sunday nights, but it’s true. Because my weeks vary so wildly as a freelancer, I’ll usually have a new project to start, and with new projects come a few butterflies.

So, I’m happy to have found a fun distraction to get me dancing past my nerves: Sunday-night salsa classes at the D Note.

If you’re gifted with two left feet like me, head there a little early and take a lesson at 8 p.m. Music from La Candela (or another Latin music group) starts at 9 p.m., and the price for the entire evening is just $8.
