Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall will not be suspended for a March 1 argument with his fiance, reports Fox 31.
Many football observers thought Marshall would be suspended by the National Football League for the incident because he was suspended for the first three games of last season after he was arrested three times in the span of 12 months for clashing with an ex, according to ESPN. The league eventually reduced the suspension to one game.
The announcement from the NFL about the March 1 incident comes two days after that ex-girlfriend dished to ESPN about her troubles with Marshall (read 5280’s recap).
The only thing that can keep him off the field now is his surgically repaired hip (via The Associated Press).
