Not so long ago, the University of Colorado was a men’s basketball backwater. But first-year coach Tad Boyle and his players have turned that reputation around this year, going 19-12 (8-8 in conference play) and positioning themselves for a possible NCAA Tournament berth. “Colorado is a program that’s going to get better and better,” says Wesley Gordon, a Colorado Springs high school star who announced his commitment to CU this week (Denver Post). Gordon made his decision after watching CU beat Nebraska in front of a packed house in Boulder on Saturday night.
