August 21 and 22 | Keystone Mountain Town Music Festival
Delta Rae headlines this weekend of free live music, face painting, fireworks, and (of course) plenty of local food and artisans.
August 22 | Boulder Craft Beer Festival
Back for its second year, this local drinker’s delight boasts more than 20 Boulder County breweries and free live music.
August 22 to 30 | Yarn Along The Rockies
This nine-day “yarn crawl” includes 24 shops stretching from Boulder to Colorado Springs. Each store offers discounts, drinks and snacks, free patterns, and chances to win prize baskets—some stuffed with hundreds of dollars worth of yarn!
August 25 | National Park Service Birthday
In honor of the National Park Service’s 99th birthday, entrance to Colorado’s national parks will be free all day!
August 29 to September 1 | Telluride Film Festival
You won’t know what you’re seeing until you arrive at this stunning town’s 42nd annual film festival. But you can bet it’ll be good. (Previous fests have included Juno, Slumdog Millionaire, and Up In The Air).
Thursdays through September 3 | Beaver Creek Wine Excursions
Snag one of Beaver Creek’s final summer Wine Excursions: an hour-long, 4×4 vehicle tour that ends at Beano’s Cabin, where a wine and cheese pairing await. (Or the more adventurous can opt for a guided three-mile hike that ends at the cabin.)
