A dinner out is all the evidence you need that Colorado breeds all-star chefs (especially when dining at these favorite spots). This year three of our culinary artists traveled to Seattle to see if they had the chops to become the next Top Chef.
Tonight’s episode launches Top Chef Seattle, season 10 of the competitive cooking reality show, which airs on the Bravo Network Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Three area chefs vie for Top honors: Eliza Gavin, chef-owner of Telluride’s 221 South Oak Restaurant; Jorel Pierce, chef de cuisine at Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen; and Tyler Wiard, executive chef of Elway’s. Join me in cheering on our local talent as they compete against 18 non-Coloradans—and each other.
Let the best chef win.
Flashback: Colorado chef Hosea Rosenberg (now chef-owner of Blackbelly Catering—then head chef of Boulder’s Jax Fish House) won Top Chef season 5.
Bonus: Can’t wait? Bravo offers a sneak peek of the first 10 minutes of tonight’s show.
