Once a month, Denver’s best baristas gather for a latte art throwdown. For those who enter (a $5 fee), the competition tests finesse and skill—and nerves. At stake: Prizes and bragging rights.

We took in the action at last month’s competition at Crema Coffee House where 30 participants vied for the title. The next throwdown is Thursday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at Brewing Market Coffee in Lafayette. The events are free and open to the public.
