In Colorado, Mother Nature always has the last word. And she’s decided that it’s not time to stop celebrating Vail’s 50th Anniversary just yet. More than three feet of fresh powder have blanketed the mountain in the past few days, which prompted Vail to reopen April 19–21 for one last hoorah.
More than 2,400 acres of terrain will be open for the weekend (sorry newbies, but no beginner stuff will be available). Skiing and snowboarding will be free for 2012-13 season pass holders, and $50 for those without passes. A special $25 rate applies to those with non-Vail Resorts season passes. Get the same ticket deals at Breckenridge; they are also reopening for the weekend.
One day of spring bonus turns not enough for you? Get a room and play for the entire weekend. Check out Vail Cascade‘s Snowy Encore deal—rooms are just $99 per night with free parking and no resort fee. Use promotion code VCENCORE during booking to lock in the deal.
