Tornado season in Colorado officially touched down yesterday, as lightning crackled across the skies and tornado warnings were issued for Denver International Airport, Brighton, and extreme southern Weld County (and then canceled shortly later), according to 9News.
There was no apparent damage, but twisters reportedly hit the ground near Platteville and west of Evans. Another tornado was spotted in Wyoming, 30 miles east of Cheyenne, where winds ripped the roof from a house and flash floods followed the rain, according to The Associated Press. More tornadoes were also spotted last night in Wyoming and Nebraska.
