When the major league soccer all-star game lands at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on July 29, about 20 of the league’s best players will take to the field. Unless you’re a serious hooligan or aficionado, chances are you won’t recognize a single one of ’em (and not just because none of them are likely to be Rapids). Sadly, in a country dominated by baseball, basketball, and football, pros from less popular sports often get overlooked, no matter how many trophies and titles they rack up. So we wanted to introduce you to a few Centennial State superstars whose names aren’t Manning, Tulowitzki, or Vonn.
