Denver band The Fray seems to be faring well despite recent legal troubles over song ownership with their former manager. The group is slated to open for U2 on May 21, 2011, at Invesco Field at Mile High, according to promoter Live Nation. U2’s 360 Tour, which was canceled this year after Bono was injured during rehearsals, was rescheduled, meaning those who already held tickets to the show are in luck (and a few tickets are still available for those who don’t), notes the Denver Business Journal. It will be the Fray’s largest-ever live audience. As for U2, the 2011 show at the Denver Broncos’ stadium will be the Irish band’s first outdoor show in Denver since 1997, when they played the former Mile High Stadium.
