So now that Gov. Bill Owens has reconciled with his wife, Frances, are we to assume that the First Family’s marital history need never be spoken of again?
That seems to be the message in this morning’s Rocky Mountain News.
The usually thorough Lynn Bartels takes a look at the Governor’s prospects when his term ends in January 2007, but never once mentions the Owens’ domestic difficulties or the impact it has had on his political career.
Bartels’ conclusion?
[The] governor hinted this week that he will look outside politics when term limits force him out of office…
