Come fall, it sometimes feels like Denver is all about football—all the time. But for those of you who don’t know the difference between a quarterback sneak and a blitz, here are some Monday night options that don’t involve pigskin.
EAT: Learn to cook Colorado meats (rabbit, bison, and quail, oh my!) at the Gourmet Spoon’s Beast Feast. Don’t want to cook? Try Maggiano’s and Great Divide Beer Dinner, a four-course meal paired with artisan beers, or Ototo Harvest Beer Dinner, which features food from Den Farm and Fruition Farms and international beer pairings.
LAUGH: For those of you still waiting to be discovered, show Denver what you’ve got at the Lion’s Lair Open Mic Comedy Night.
JAM: Bring your instrument of choice and rock out at El Chapultepec’s Blues Jam Session.
PLAY: Go old school with bingo at Sputnik or play free pool at Barricuda’s (pictured).
