While Black Friday often draws shoppers to large chain stores with huge markdowns, we sometimes forget that local shops also provide promotions and discounts during this popular shopping weekend. From Black Friday to Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, support the local community by shopping at these Denver businesses.
Clothing and accessories:
Goldyn: The Denver-based, fashion-forward boutique will offer 30 percent off all merchandise—including jewelry, which typically never goes on sale—Friday through Monday. Tattered Cover Book Store: This Denver stalwart is putting a fun spin on Small Business Saturday—three of their locations (Aspen Grove, LoDo, and Colfax) are inviting a number of local authors to come in to work the floor, recommend books, and chat with customers. Small Business Saturday Holiday Fair & Artisan Show: This family-friendly event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds includes more than 140 vendors, a silent auction and fundraiser, Santa Claus, activities for children, and food and drinks to enjoy.
