Golf etiquette dictates that spectators keep their voices down on the course. But the rules don’t apply at the Solheim Cup, where organizers encourage fans to whoop it up (at least on the first tee) for the biennial, trans-Atlantic competition that pits U.S.-born LPGA players (like team captain Meg Mallon, an 18-time LPGA Tour champion) against the best from the Ladies European Tour. The prestigious event at the Colorado Golf Club in Parker tees off August 13, with match play beginning Friday. While the players get in three days of practice rounds, you can enjoy silent auctions and the opening ceremony, where you’ll be introduced to each team. Just don’t leave home without your red, white, and blue—or your kids. Children 17 and younger get in free with a ticketed adult. solheimcupusa.com
