When the snow-speckled photos of Colorado’s highcountry streamed in over Twitter on Monday, I guarantee I wasn’t the only one who got a little gitty. Fall officially takes over this weekend, and even though the metro area could still see temperatures hit the dreaded 90s, the calendar is inching toward snowier days. Loveland and Arapahoe Basin are slated to open lifts in mid-October, the earliest of any Colorado resorts, but in the meantime we’ll lead you to powder on the silver screen. Check out these ski movies as they screen in Colorado throughout the fall to get amped for the season. A few will even earn you a free lift ticket to start your winter off right.
