Sometimes you have to wonder if the forecasters are hyping snow to keep the nightly news ratings up. They’re warning that a snowstorm is going to hit the Front Range on Tuesday, but maybe not.

The Vail Daily is predicting both rain and snow for the High Country.

He says snow in Denver will begin Wednesday morning and bring six to 10 inches–unless it rains. Regardless, a winter storm warning is in effect for the foothills around Boulder and Larimer counties from noon until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
