Run, don’t walk to Harman’s Eat & Drink, and order the house-made chips with warm “blue chz” dip. This is no ordinary snack: Chef-owner Mark Fischer slices russets, Yukon Golds, and sweet potatoes with a mandoline before dropping the rounds into the deep fryer. When they emerge, crispy and bubbling-hot, Fischer dusts them with a curry-infused spice mix that’s salty, sweet, and exotic. But that’s not all: The appetizer is drizzled with warm, tangy blue cheese sauce. Dip a chip, and then another, and let the feast begin. To head off any squabbling among diners, ask for an extra ramekin of the dip.
