The National Basketball Association’s Western Conference Finals resume tonight (7 p.m., ESPN) as the Denver Nuggets look to bounce back from the heartbreaking Game 1 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. If the Nuggets want to win, they’ll need better play from J.R. Smith, who’s nursing a calf injury, and another solid game from Kenyon Martin, who’s dealing with a fractured left ring finger (via The Denver Post).
As for the issue of the Pepsi Center being double booked when the series comes to Denver, World Wrestling Entertainment has decided it will go to the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Post reports that bombastic WWE chairman Vince McMahon will stage a confrontation with an actor posing as Pepsi Center owner Stan Kroenke during filming.
Meanwhile, The Miami Herald says Kroenke should hire McMahon to market the Nuggets and the NBA.
