Grammy Award winning singer Marc Cohn was shot early Monday during a carjacking in downtown Denver. The incident occured hours after a Sunday concert at the Denver Botanic Gardens, where the singer of “Walking in Memphis” opened for Suzanne Vega. Police said Monday they are looking for a local man in connection with the shooting.
Denver Police have identified the man as 26-year-old Joseph William Yacteen. They say he may also go by the name Anthony Andolini. Cohn was hit in the temple by a bullet fired during a wild turn of events. The bullet was lodged in his head, but was removed at Denver Health Medical Center. He was released later Monday.
