There’s no question that former Denver Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe, who nabbed three Super Bowl rings in 14 seasons, was great. But his legacy, arguably, could be forgotten if he doesn’t get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Though experts say he should be inducted into the class of 2009 tomorrow, he says he’s “never been this nervous in my life,” as the Rocky Mountain News reports. To be honest, he just keeps “playing the scenario” in which his name doesn’t get called tomorrow. Good luck, Shannon.
