Before the Pittsburgh Steelers won a record sixth Super Bowl, defeating the Arizona Cardinals yesterday 27-23, Shannon Sharpe got a lesson in patience. The former Denver Broncos tight end was not inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, as he had hoped, writes The Denver Post.
“Sunshine follows rain,” Sharpe said of the bad news. “We’ll try it again. Hopefully, I’ll get back on the ballot and I’ll get back in this situation and hopefully I’ll get in.”
