Old Studebaker cars and vintage campers rolled in and out of the garage at Abby Gerdeman’s childhood Ohio home. As her parents tinkered on these projects, Gerdeman learned to see beyond bad paint and stained interiors. In October 2013, Gerdeman turned her family’s knack for rehab into a business: Picture Me Camping. The 28-year-old spent six months transforming a 1956 Leisure Home camper into a rolling photo booth that fits at least four. Normally parked in Denver, the mobile memory-maker will also commute to your mountain celebration. “People are loving everything vintage now,” Gerdeman says. “It fits in especially with Denver and this crowd of mobile everything.” Rates for the traveling studio start at $300 for unlimited photo-bomb-free snaps—and enduring party host notoriety. picturemecamping.com
