Wolf Creek Ski Area
Opening date confirmed
Wolf Creek will be the first hill to open in the U.S. this season. The Pagosa Springs resort received more than 20 inches of snow within the last week. The lifts will start running at 9 a.m. on October 13.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area
Opening date confirmed
The Summit County ski area is almost always one of the first to open in the state, and this year is no different.

Loveland Ski Area

Although it’s known for its professional snowmakers, Loveland has received 10 inches of snow since October 8 with more expected before it opens to the public on Monday, October 22.
