When it comes to the taxing process of searching for a new house, homebuyers can use just about any advantage they can get. And Greenwood Village–based Metrolist—a company that tracks real estate listings in the Denver metro area—hopes its new website, recolorado.com, becomes a go-to tool for Coloradans looking to buy a new home. Last week, the company debuted REcolorado, which features a searchable database of thousands of homes across the Centennial State.
Data on the website is updated every 15 minutes. And aside from performing traditional searches by, say, the number of bedrooms or bathrooms, users can also choose from customized profiles for different types of buyers: young family, first-time homebuyer, investor, active lifestyle. The site also features a “find a Realtor” tool to help connect homebuyers with real estate agents who specialize in certain areas.
“Recolorado.com was created to better suit the needs and wants of Colorado’s brokers, agents, homebuyers and sellers,” says Kirby Slunaker, CEO and president of Metrolist. “The new website empowers homebuyers with access to some of the same information as the professionals and will enable stronger working relationships between brokers, agents, and their clients.”
