Rejoice! Gone are the days of nonsensical layovers. In the coming year you’ll be only nine to 11 hours from your next European adventure. Starting this September, Norwegian Air will begin offering nonstop flights from Denver to London, and in April 2018, the European airline is bringing Denver’s first nonstop flight to Paris.

You may have experienced the British Invasion a few weekends ago when the British Bobbies—another name for the English police force—stopped through Denver’s most popular spots. And why? To teach us some manners (and spread news of the new flight). They ticketed those who don’t follow normal British customs, such as always being cheerful, drinking tea, keeping a stiff upper lip, wearing European fútbol gear, and holding your pinky high.

“Norwegian’s announcement of nonstop service to London further solidifies Denver’s position as a global city,” Mayor Michael Hancock said in a press release. “We are pleased that Norwegian has chosen to invest in Denver, and we look forward to a successful long-term partnership.”

Starting this September and October, look for nonstop Norwegian Air flights leaving Denver twice a week for London’s Gatwick Airport (in November, flights will be expanded to three times a week). And in good ol’ English etiquette, one-way tickets start at a $199 for economy seats. Cheers—we’ll see you across the pond.
