Colorado Ballet dancers share their art with all of Sante Fe Drive as they practice in a glass-paned room overlooking the street; the space, however, is the first that has ever been truly theirs. In 2013, the Colorado Ballet purchased a modern, eight-studio building on the north end of the Sante Arts District—the ballet’s first official space in 54 years. The building was renovated and designed in collaboration with Semple Brown Design and opened earlier this month. Next time you’re driving by, glance up. You might just get some pointers on how to do a proper pirouette.
