The coming of October means one thing for many local breweries: time to pull out the pumpkin pie spices and brew a batch of autumnal beer. Copper Kettle Brewing Co. is no exception, but the southeast Denver spot offers a unique twist: specialty pumpkin beer paired with dessert.
Copper Kettle regularly creates and serves unique 10-gallon small-batch brews, called firkins. Now the brewery has devoted the month of October to creating unique fall-flavored creations. Each Wednesday, the crew introduces a new pumpkin-themed beer paired with a house-made dessert.
The brew is available when Copper Kettle opens at 2 p.m. and is offered as long as it lasts. Supplies are limited: the last pint is usually poured before closing time Wednesday. Hence, a perfect excuse to take an early happy hour and enjoy a taste of fall, with dessert on the side. Don’t miss any of the pumpkin-inspired brews:
October 8: pumpkin milk stout
October 15: vanilla chai pumpkin ale
October 22: bourbon oak-aged pumpkin porter
October 29: pumpkin saison
