Guitars, Cars, and Barbecue Sip Scotch, eat barbecue, and kick the tires of some slick cars at Guys’ Night Out, a fundraiser for the Carson J Spencer Foundation and Man Therapy, two organizations that fight against emotional issues—particularly among men. Historian and music journalist G. Brown will emcee the fun and supportive evening championing men’s mental health. Guest speaker Captain Aaron D. Werbel will speak on how men can cope with emotional distress instead of ignoring it as they often do. Thu, 5:30 p.m.; Casselman’s Bar
Fore! Grab your flat cap and green jacket: the golf-themed Country Club Classic is back for the sixth year. All proceeds from the event benefit the American Lung Association. Sat 4–8 p.m, Denver Performing Arts Complex Sculpture Park
