“I Remember My First Beer”: Relive your favorite scenes from “Beerfest” (or just your college days) and compete in the Denver Beer Olympics. First-place winners will net four tickets to this year’s Great American Beer Fest. But it’s not just about the glory: Proceeds from the event will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the largest voluntary health agency focused on defeating blood cancer. Sat, 10 a.m.; Civic Center Park
Collaborate: Call To Arms Brewing is teaming up with Cannonball Creek Brewing Company for Peace & Assist, a collaborative celebration dedicated to helping out a brewery in need. The event will feature live music from two members of Fort Collins-based band Longest Day of the Year, donuts from Boulder’s Bronuts, and—of course—beer, including the event’s own brew, Peace & Assist No. 1. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of Peace & Assist No. 1 will benefit Clothes to Kids of Denver, an organization that gives clothes to children in need. Sat, noon; Cannonball Creek Brewing Company, Golden
