Drink For Pink Fundraiser: Drink for Pink is a local organization that partners with breweries in Colorado and the Cancer League of Colorado to raise money for breast cancer research. Since this month is breast cancer awareness month, Drink for Pink has been putting on fundraisers all October at your favorite local breweries. They still have two events left: Support a great cause while enjoying a beer after work this week, as all the proceeds will go toward finding a cure for breast cancer. The fundraiser will be at Left Hand Brewing on October 26 and at Ratio Beerworks on Octover 29. 3rd Annual HOWLaween Ball: Get in the Halloween Spirit a day early at the HOWLaween Ball. Anyone 21 or older is welcome at this Halloween party full of dancing, music, costume contests, snacks, a cash bar with local beer, and a huge silent auction. All proceeds will benefit three local animal welfare nonprofits in Summit County: League for Animals & People of the Summit, Animal Rescue of the Rockies, and Far View Horse Rescue. Dance 2B Free Fundraising Soul Sweat Class: Join Alchemy of Movement for a private “soul sweat” class taught by Lucy Wallace. Wallace founded Dance 2B Free, a nonprofit organization that brings the fun and joy of dance into prison systems. Paranormal Palace: Paranormal Palace is a Halloween charity event to benefit the Colorado Ballet. This theatrical extravaganza is only for those 21 and older, but will include about 2,500 guests in costume aiming to win the costume contest (the winner pockets $2000). The event takes place across three floors of Halloween party craziness and there will be over 35 professional performers and entertainers. Bonus: your ticket includes access to the open bar.
