4th Annual Children’s Classic at Perry Park: The Project One Foundation will host this year’s Children’s Classic golf tournament at Perry Park Country Club in Larkspur. Proceeds from the tournament will support health research at Children’s Hospital Colorado. The event will feature food, drinks, networking and an auction. Shanahan Ridge Fencing Project: Volunteers are needed to help Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks install a cattle fence. The fence will help curb an invasion of nonnative tall oat grass, a thick grass associated with cattle grazing that affects biodiversity by displacing more palatable native species. OSMP will provide lunch, safety gear, extra water, and leather gloves. Volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for Colorado weather and to work in an outdoor setting. Sturdy boots, layered clothing and sunscreen will be needed. Registration and more info, including a complete list of supplies, can be found here. Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; 1319 Wildwood Rd., Boulder
