Events to Attend
Cocktails for a Cause: Spend a guilt-free evening sipping on serrano chile mango margaritas for a good cause. Really. While you down a delicious concoction, you’ll be benefiting The Rise School, a therapeutic preschool in Denver for children with and without development disabilities. Don’t forget to bring a donation from the CFAC list, including everything from baby wipes to Play-Doh. Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.; Wings Over the Rockies, 7711 E. Academy Blvd.; $10 entry, plus donation
Denver Sky High Rotary Pig Roast and Corn Hole Tournament: Corn hole culture is finally finding its place beyond the bar. Denver Sky High Rotary Club is hosting an evening of corn hole with a side of farm-raised pork. With every toss, you’ll be helping the End Polio Now Campaign, which aims to eradicate the disease worldwide. Tuesday, 4–9 p.m.; 23rd Avenue Sculpture Garden, 3500 W. 23rd Ave.; $25–$40
That's only $1 per issue!
