Colorado Gives Day: This Tuesday in Colorado is dedicated to giving. The statewide initiative celebrates and encourages philanthropy throughout the state through online donations to local nonprofits and do-good organizations. Make a donation to one of your favorite causes—there are more than 1,800 participating nonprofits—in the 24-hour period, or schedule it in advance. Christmas for Kids Holiday Happy Hour: ’Tis the giving season in the Mile High City, and the Christmas for Kids Holiday Happy Hour is the perfect opportunity to share holiday gifts and support a good cause. Join Denver Active 20-30 and Rocky Mountain Active 20-30 at the EDGE Restaurant & Bar for a complimentary Grey Goose cocktail and happy hour pricing throughout the night on food and drinks. There will be dancing, music and a photo booth, which are sure to entertain all night long. The proceeds will go to support kids in need during the holiday season. 4th Annual Denver Santa Speedo Dash: Strut your stuff this holiday season at the Santa Speedo Dash. This one-mile run encourages all participants to wear their favorite speedos with creative holiday flair as they race to the finish line where they will be greeted with a cold beer. Registration includes a Santa hat and Mrs. Claus shooter for before the race. Proceeds benefit the Life Is Better Rescue, which helps with animal care for those in the rescue community. Brunch With Santa at Spruce Mountain Ranch: Santa Claus is coming to town, and he wants to have brunch with you. Enjoy the meal catered by Catering by Design, take professional photos with Santa, and enjoy some good old-fashioned holiday fun at this charitable event. South Gaylord Association Holiday Walk & Toy Drive: This annual event is your ultimate opportunity to give and receive holiday cheer. As you walk on Old South Gaylord Street, listen to carolers, pick up some refreshments from merchants, and meet with Santa.
