In Colorado, we like to think that living at altitude gives us special abilities. Unless you have adjusted to the thin air, though, exercising can be tough. Just ask photographer Sarah Boyum, an Indiana native and recent Denver transplant, who snapped this shot of a biker as she hiked up an incline in Jefferson County’s North Table Mountain Park. —Derek Kessinger
