During the summer, we tend to travel west to Grand Junction for the produce—peaches, corn, and more. But the antique scene is equally alluring. Here, a few stops to fit in between farmstand visits.
1. A Haggle of Vendors Emporium, 510 Main St., Grand Junction
Selling everything from Native American jewelry to vintage candy bowls, “Emporium” is an apt word to describe the eclectic range of items sold at a Haggle of Vendors Emporium. The store’s owner is often on site to answer questions about, say, that oversized chest of drawers you were eyeing.
2. A Robin’s Nest of Antiques and Treasures, 558 Main St., Grand Junction
If your trunk is stuffed with luggage (or boxes of peaches), you can always find room for the tiny vintage knick knacks at a Robin’s Nest. Bonus: The shop is pooch friendly.
3. Talk of the Town Antique Mall, 2458 I-70 Business, Grand Junction
Talk of the Town Antique Mall rounds up more than 30 vendors—and some are willing to haggle. We adore the giant selection of vintage dishes (c’mon, you could always use another set of dishes).
