Are you thinking about early retirement? Tired of your career? The Peace Corps will be in Denver recruiting older volunteers Thursday night.
The Peace Corps has found that older workers, with their varied skills, are so well-suited overseas that it has begun recruiting people in their 50s, 60s and even 70s. Today and Thursday, Peace Corps director Ronald Tschetter is in Denver, visiting with a dozen older Peace Corps workers who recently returned from overseas assignments. On Thursday, he will host a recruiting party at the Colorado History Museum, open to the public, hoping to find more seniors to join his ranks.
