New England’s Josh McDaniels: Denver Broncos’ New Coach
Josh McDaniels, who worked under New England’s successful coach, Bill Belichick, will replace Mike Shanahan as the Denver Broncos’ new head coach, The Denver Post reports. The Broncos are expected to hold a press conference today or tomorrow to announce that the coordinator of the Patriots’ offense will join the Broncos. Meanwhile, the team’s chief operation officer, Joe Ellis, has confirmed an agreement with McDaniels. At 32, McDaniels is three years younger than Broncos center Casey Wiegmann, although the sport runs deep in his family.
