The Growing Mile: The Mile High Mile, billed as “Denver’s Premier One Mile Road Race,” may be short, but it’s popular. The race took place on Sunday at Invesco Field at Mile High with more than 1,700 participants, nearly three times the number from last year (Run Colorado).
SmaRTD: Card-carrying public-transit commuters will like the idea of RTD’s smart card, which intends to eliminate the need for cash (CBS4). The Regional Transportation Authority is also considering the idea of a double-tracked rail line to Denver International Airport in order to accommodate more stops along the way (9News).
