The Gist: Kors’ spring collection works a theme that is all-American, sexy, and sporty. Featuring: Mixing a palette of black, white, red, and ’80s electric blue with graphic elements like polka dots, stripes, and contrasting panels, Kors sent out an army of dresses, skirts, rompers with cutout sides, cropped pants, and pinup-inspired swimwear. During a season in which the mini has been strong, Kors keeps his lengths much closer to the knee, with ’50s-style full skirts and dresses in gingham, madras, and polka dots. But he kicks up the sexy quotient with a series of neoprene, second-skin shift dresses. His series of jersey column gowns are perfectly cut. The “It” Factor For Denver:
Kors’ draped knee-length skirts with asymmetrical hems look fresh and modern for the season.
