Mel’s Bar in Cherry Creek North officially re-opens tonight, after being closed for two weeks following a Dec. 20 fire. In additon to new carpet, fresh paint, and reupholstered booths, Mel’s will also be introducing a new menu.

Also, mark your calendar for dinner at Mel’s on Jan. 10. Owner Mel Master will donate 20 percent of the night’s sales to his staff to make up for wages and tips lost following the fire, which has been ruled arson.
