Denver welcomes a new festival this weekend, the Laugh Track Comedy Festival. To partake, head for the Bug Theatre at 3654 Navajo St. for this two-day (Friday and Saturday) showcase of local comedy films and stand-up comedians.
Laugh Track was borne from the local and independent Festivus Film Festival. Because the comedy section of that event proved so popular, the festival’s founders decided to give it its own weekend.
The fun kicks off tonight at 7 p.m. with a set of films and comedians, followed by a second set of different films and comics at 9 p.m. Saturday there are sets at 4:30, 6, and 9 p.m. Tickets for a single block are $8 pre-sale ($10 at the door), and a festival pass is $25 pre-sale ($30 at the door).
