The feud between the Denver Nuggets’ Kenyon Martin and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has taken on a life of its own. The histrionic Cuban insulted Martin’s mother after his team lost Game 3 last Saturday, telling her that her son is a thug. The situation escalated during Game 4, when someone apparently poured beer on Martin’s mother (via The Denver Post). Martin promised to respond to the situation, which he did as he left the floor after Monday’s game (via Westword).

There’s also video of Lala Vasquez, Carmelo Anthony’s fiance, after she was allegedly taunted and pushed by rowdy Dallas fans (another hat tip to Westword).

Don’t expect any further escalation tonight at the Pepsi Center. Cuban isn’t planning to attend.
