Describing Ella’s style as ‘Colorado contemporary,’ he explains, “Our goal was to bring together the timelessness of a warm, natural palette with modern technology and energy efficiency in a way that reflects this unique place.”

Arranged in five clusters, the townhomes are available in 13 different configurations, with sizes ranging from 2,260 to 3,090 square feet, and prices starting at $975,000. Floor plans vary, and spaces are designed to be flexible, but each home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two powder rooms, and a two-car garage. (Three homes are equipped with elevators, and all buyers will have the opportunity to customize their home’s automation with Harrison Home Systems.)

“We seized on the unique opportunities of the site to create a variety of unit types,” Petersen explains. “Street-facing units are generally taller and deeper to take advantage of rooftop decks and outward views; the units that surround the central mews are shorter and wider to maximize the access to daylight and nature that the garden space offers.”

Inside, the homes are airy and fresh, offering a cool update on the split-level concept. “Openness was a key strategy to drive the interior arrangement of the spaces, with kitchen and dining spaces overlooking lofty, daylit one-and-a-half-story living,” Petersen says.

Jodi Wills, principal designer at Coesivo Design Group, orchestrated the townhomes’ interiors. “The key was to make material selections that intentionally blended modern, industrial, and contemporary designs while still being timeless and classic,” she explains. Buyers can choose between two neutral color palettes based on gray or taupe shades.

Wills’ approach focused on simple serenity, with a level of luxury that she hadn’t seen elsewhere in the city. “I intentionally sought out manufacturers with products that would raise the bar,” she says. “In particular, I found tile, plumbing fixtures, and flooring from Porcelanosa, a manufacturer out of Spain.” The sleek, modern vibe continues with the homes’ appliances, from brands including Bosch, Thermador, and Zephyr.
